I Won't Ask 03:53
I still think of you, The unabashed way you used to be. I’d watch you for hours, You won’t leave, I won’t ask you to. It does me good to set aside A piece of alone time. Just to hang out with you In my mind. I’d watch you for hours now, You won’t leave, I wont’ ask you to It’s hard to remember last night When my mind lives in a place Years ago. I still think of you, The unabashed way you used to be. I’d watch you for hours. You won’t leave, I won’t ask you to.

Did you cast spells on me at night? I wouldn’t ask you not to, I just want to know. Did you go into my head when it was clear? It’s just like you. Do you wonder how it could have been? It’s hard to condemn what never was. Do you feel that I have left you in the cold? It’s just like you. You don’t know where to go, Or how to fly on your wings again. Do you feel your affect go awry? Don’t you hear me calling out across this empty sky? Do you hear me scream your name? Don’t fret, some things are better left unsaid. You don’t know where to go, Or how to fly on your wings again.

Technique is crafted repetition, With every spoken phrase waits the reaction. Topic's changing, we're moving forward But you're still on the phrase Just thinking about your reaction. Know when to speak, Know when to cage your tongue, Know when to listen, Know when to hold your own. Trampled master, you've got your patterns We all know you're right, and we all know you're wrong. Can't let it go now, Gotta be the one on top, Gotta be the one in charge. Know when to speak, Know when to cage your tongue, Know when to listen, Know when to hold your own. We've all got our two cents, Doesn't mean you always gotta throw it in. It's a habit just to say, Doesn't mean you always gotta try And make it go your way. Know when to speak, Know when to cage your tongue, Know when to listen, Know when to hold your own. Know when to speak, Know when to cage your tongue, Know when to listen, Know when to hold your own.

You got the time, You’ve got the place picked out. And you know just how you want it to be. And where I am then, It don’t matter much. Looks like you love the idea More than you love me. Where you are is where I want to be. Stuff it inside, It get’s easier. You’ve got your friends To help you get by. And you’ve got a way Of saying everything with not a a breath at all. Where you are is where I want to be.

Caliber 04:11
Why would you say something like that? Why would you think that’s ok? I hope that you don’t find Someone as vindictive as you. You’re not the caliber of person that I thought you were. So tell me now what good Do you think being sorry will do? I think that you should try taking out Your explosive anger on something that’s not living. You’re not the caliber of person that I thought you were. You aimed to burn and you did. I see you’ve moved the venom From your veins to your fangs But you are not the caliber of person that I thought you were.

Practice 03:17
Take the time baby love And do your tricks just right. Take the time baby love, But get em’ right. We’ve all seen the eyes We know you’re asking again. No need to explain this time. We all know you’ve got a sweet spot for thinking And that’s ok indoors, But don’t think twice about running That mouth outside. Take the time baby love, Play your cards and dice. You never know when someone’s Gonna roll one twice. We’ve all seen the lie, We know you’ve got us at bay, There’s no need to hide those eyes anymore. We all know you’ve got a sweet spot for thinking And that’s ok indoors, But don’t think twice about running That mouth outside.

You can take your idea And shove it right up your ass. You see I’ve returned the favor, Now how do we both feel? Used to be how talked Was the only thing that drove me up the wall. But I’ve seen your premise, Seems we don’t agree on much at all. And I’ll let you be, If you let me be. You can have your idea It’s only your rep on the line. Keep your pamphlet, Cause I’ve already got mine. Used to be how you taught Was the only thing that drove me up the wall those days. I’ve seen your statements, And baby, we’re all depraved. And I’ll let you be, If you let me be. You make the most of everything you do. And I’ll let you be.
8.
Oh no, no. Where’d you go When you danced on my eyelids last night? Where’d you go when you turned, Where’d you go when we made all the light? Don’t forget your eyes watched me. Wanted something to try Now you’re lost and you’re searching away again. Where’d you go when you left, What’d you do when you slammed down everything? Don’t forget your eyes watched me. Where’d you go when you tried? What’d it take to deny your home again? Where’d you live out your life? What’d you do when they pushed all your own again? Don’t forget your eyes watched me.

Gypsy 04:38
Gypsy, gypsy lady, speak me words that you think I would want to hear whispered in my ear. Gypsy, gypsy, lady, speak the truth but don’t forget to speak your mind. Don’t forget to say something actually about yourself. Don’t forget to say something actually about your own thoughts. Gypsy, gypsy lady, won’t you come to me when I will need you most, alone with the host. All the times that you wished you had a new way out, well it’s there. Gypsy, gypsy lady, speak the truth but don’t forget to speak your mind every time. Gypsy, gypsy lady, be a pest but don’t forget that you are right. Gypsy, gypsy lady, don’t you know that you’ll land where you need? Gypsy, gypsy lady, can’t you see that you are magic?

Burn For You 05:05
Sitting next to you girl and everything’s allright. I still think of you when I lay down every night. I can feel the embers deep within me swell. All of me still loves you and I know you can tell. So talk about the wonders of moving on, that’s ok. But I’m not letting go of you here, even if you won’t stay. Just let me burn for you until I’m ashes Cause I don’t need this body anymore. So let me burn for you. Remember how you were blind to our love before? Don’t you think there’s something hidden yet in store? See now my petition, hear out now my plea. Let your heart take flight, and let it be with me. You can’t deny the safety you feel with me, o sweet dear friend. I’m going to light your fire, o let me be your man. Or let me burn for you until I’m ashes Cause I don’t need this body anymore. So let me burn for you. And I don’t know how to do anything but love you, I don’t know how to get you off my mind. Just let me burn for you until I’m ashes Cause I don’t need this body anymore. Just let me burn for you.

Waking up at sunset, peace held our shared art. Miles between and years apart. Winding roads led us straight where we needed to be. So letting go seems to be the easiest thing to hold onto. Never thought I’d be here again, standing next to you. Winding roads led us straight where we needed to be. So waking up at sunset, love delves depths anew. Word cannot hold my respect for you. Winding roads led us straight where we needed to be. Waking up at sunset, care won the prize. Never seen such serenity in your eyes. Winding roads led us straight where we needed to be. So Winding roads lead us straight where we need to be. Winding roads lead us straight where we need to be.

about

Gypsy, the name we give to wandering nomads from various cultures, defined by the journey they travel. Miles to Go's newest album, Gypsy, will be defined by the journey of this new and upcoming band, responding to the beckoning, nomadic call of their passion.

With charged piano and Rhodes, dramatic guitar swells, and processed vocals, the album glides between post- pop- and progressive-rock. Take the exciting journey, within yourself, within the joys and pains of relationships and life, and within the heart of the story each song tells. Let Miles to Go become companions on the road you travel. Gypsy: songs for the journey.
